St. George Toilet Flood
This weekend, the hose connecting the pipe from the wall to our toilet popped off the toilet and water shot everywhere. It went for several minutes before we noticed water running down our hall. I was completely overwhelmed and had no idea what to do. After turning the water off to the house, I spent the next six hours cleaning it up with a rented wet vac. Now my back is out and I feel so sick that I don’t think I can go into work tomorrow. A friend told me that my insurance would have covered a restoration company to do the job. I wish I would have thought to call a restoration company. It would have saved me money and time and prevented me from getting sick. In fact, I should probably contact them anyway to make sure that there aren’t any hidden damp areas behind walls or under the carpet that could be a starting place for dangerous mold.
