Southern Utah Floods

The City of St. George and other communities in southern Utah experienced road closures and were in a state of emergency as areas along the Virgin and Santa Clara River flooded this past week.  Homes in Beaver Dam were washed away and two golf courses in St. George were damaged. We received 18.5 inches of steady rain in Washington County, which is more than twice the amount typically seen in an entire year.
