Voting in Southern Utah
By voting in the election today in southern Utah, you will make your voice heard regarding not only our state and government officials, but subjects that are important to all residents in southern Utah. Regardless of what your views are on the candidates and topics, each person in southern Utah has a voting voice, and should use it. According to census.gov, voting rates are increasing steadily, showing that the people of southern Utah and the rest of the United States are taking an active hand in selecting leaders and laws for their area. Originally, the only people with the right to vote were white men, with substantial land or wealth.
