Start A Garden – You don’t have to have a large overwhelming garden to get produce. Some of the most simplest and easiest designs do the trick. We have seen everything from small pots to larger squared off areas. There is nothing as organic as home grown! And you get the satisfaction of knowing your hard work has produced something you can be proud of, and save you money!
Flower Accents – There is one way to really spruce up curb appeal. And that is with flower treatments below your windows. They act as an accessory to being attention and detail to your window. You can use wood boxes or metal, whatever looks best on your exterior. It’s a great way to bring in color and interest without being drastic with paint. Make sure to check with your local nursery for flowers that are able to withstand your climate.
Create A Sitting Area – Every adult needs a designated sitting/relaxing area in the home to help unwind. Why not bring that outdoors? You can enjoy the sounds of nature while sipping on your favorite beverage. It has been known that people who spend time outside benefit from natural vitamins. Get your smile on by lounging on the back porch in our self designed outdoor living room!
Repurpose A Bird Bath – This particular bird bath is eye catching and very aesthetically pleasing. It’s a great way to bring excitement to any outdoor space. You could use any color of flowers too. If flowers aren’t your thing, succulents would work as well. It’s fun to think outside the box. Or in this case think outside the bath… This would be very inviting in any yard space.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to give your yard a face lift. These simple tricks would be a fun project to do as a family, or fly solo. It’s up to you! After it is all said and done, you will be proud of what you have accomplished.
