1.  DO NOT DRINK YOUR TAP WATER.  Often times in flooding situations, tap water can be contaminated.

2. REMOVE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN OFF THE GROUND OF YOUR HOME.  If you have furniture that sits in contaminated water, the furniture will no longer be safe to use.

3. DO NOT TRY TO CLEAN UP STANDING WATER WITHOUT AN EXPERT.  When water sits, it can cause unseen damage to flooring and walls.  Bacteria can grow, which poses a risk to your health and those living with you.  Call a certified company to assess the damage and do the cleanup professionally.

4. UNPLUG EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL.  Most of us know, when electronics are exposed to water, it is not safe to plug it back into an outlet.  BE SAFE-NOT SORRY
