St. George Attic Mold

With St. George being such a warm climate, do we need to worry about mold in our attics? The answer is “yes.“ A major cause of attic mold is from bathroom fans that do not properly remove humid air from houses. Now more than ever, with temperatures rising, the warm moist air from a bathroom during and after bathing needs to be quickly expelled from the home. The correct way to accomplish this is by having bathroom fans installed and using them during and after showering or bathing.  Maybe you already have fans installed, but where is the vented air being taken to? The fan should be connected to an air duct that will lead the wet air away your home through vents placed on the side of your home or through the attic to vents on the roof. Unfortunately, often times fans are feeding the humid, mold producing air into the attic without being completely vented past the exterior of your home. Please contact HiCaliber at 435-674-9338 or visit us online at http://www.hicaliber.biz so we can fix or replace your bathroom venting system to protect your home from mold problems
