St. George Fire Department

The City of St. George Fire Department is made up of 18 full time staff aided by a volunteer staff of 60.  The department includes seven stations located geographically throughout the city with volunteers being assigned to the station nearest to their home. All volunteers carry pagers and respond as needed. The department also performs inspections for compliance with fire codes and provides BLS medical services for the City. Their mission is to provide protection and preservation of life, property, and the environment from fire and disaster, whether it is natural or manmade.
