Southern Utah Deadly House Fire

Earlier this year, two members of our southern Utah community were killed in a house fire.  Fire officials believe discarded cigarettes near the back patio probably started the fire.  Firefighters got the boy and the woman out of the home, and they were taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center where they were both pronounced dead. Firefighters say about 40 percent of the home was destroyed by fire and the rest was damaged by smoke.
