Duct Cleaning
Indoor Air-Pollution
The air we breathe indoors is often dirtier and more polluted than the visible pollution we inhale outside. Heating ventilation and air conditioning systems have been shown to act as a collection source for a variety of contaminants that have the potential to negatively impact health. Indoor air-quality can cause such problems as asthma, respiratory allergies and aggravated emphysema.
Contaminants Include:
• | Mold |
• | Fungi |
• | Bacteria |
• | Microscopic Dust Particles |
Research by the EPA has demonstrated that H.V.A.C. system-cleaning may allow systems to run more efficiently by removing debris from sensitive mechanical components. Clean, efficient, duct and vent systems are less likely to break down and generally operate more effectively than dirty systems. By purchasing a duct cleaning service with HiCaliber, you can ensure cleaner air-quality for your loved ones and potentially save money.
Duct Cleaning Process
HiCaliber utilizes a large, specialized vacuum attached to our trunc-line which creates a large flow of air. The registers are removed and a high-pressure air hose is passed through ducting to remove particles from the interior. The particles are then pulled through the ducting into the vacuum unit. Our service includes the cleaning of all registers inside the ducting and the interior of the heating and ventilating system.
The furnace fan is cleaned, the air conditioning coils are thoroughly cleaned, and finally a disinfectant is fogged throughout the newly-cleaned system. The average duct-cleaning takes a minimum of 3 – 5 hours depending on the size of the house. If the home has more than one heating and cooling system, or a system is located on the roof, it can take longer. The duct- cleaning service is a timely yet thorough process.
Home Maintenance
Duct cleaning is a very important part of home / office maintenance. However, this service isn’t typically a high priority for most homeowners or business owners. Ducts can get very dirty and often go neglected for long periods of time. It’s important to breathe clean air; if the ducts through which our indoor air travels are dirty, then the chances are higher that we are inhaling contaminants! Make sure you change your air filters on a regular basis and have your air ducts cleaned at least once a year.
When you’re looking for the best, put HiCaliber to the test!
