Ancestor Square Concert Series
Sit near the rippling brook on the green facing the old Jail House patio, with the aromas of Italian, Mexican and Tai food wafting through a soft evening breeze as you sit back and enjoy the original tunes of new Southern Utah Song Writer’s Association songwriters and performers.
“We have an excellent line up this season,” SUSWA Board Member Yvonne Wall said. “The series has become an entertainment staple each year, as local music buffs gather to enjoy great acoustic tunes, food and ambiance.”
With St. George’s close proximity to several state and national parks, tourists are often found in the audience. The Thursday night concert series provides an opportunity for people from all walks of life to experience an artistic side of the community.
The 2013 Fall Concert Series kicks off tonight with Southern Utah’s Dave Tate and his Swedish partner and wife, Victoria Lagerström.
The concert series will take place every Thursday in the month of September (Sept.5 through Sept. 26 from 7:00-8:30 pm.)
Admission is free. Bring your blanket/lawn chair and come and enjoy the evening.
