Do You Know What Lives in Your Carpet?

Keep Your Carpet Clean in St. George, UT…

Up to 80% of all dust in your home is made of dead human skin. Skin that serves as food for the dust mite. Dust mites are not the same thing as bed bugs. Dust mites don’t eat blood.

Dust Mite

Dust mites love carpets!

This Critter is Everywhere

In fact, it’s impossible to get rid of ’em. You can’t see them, they’re very small and they are translucent. But their terrible effects include increased asthma and allergies.

Having your carpets professionally cleaned will not get rid of all these bugs. But it will greatly reduce them, including their droppings (which is what causes all the health problems.)

Not all cleaning methods are the same. We utilize 10 steps to make sure that your carpet is so clean that you could eat off of it.

Step 1: We move your furniture so that we can clean underneath. This helps protect your furniture.

Step 2: We vacuum your floor with a heavy-duty commercial grade vacuum. We take extra care to vacuum to the walls and in tough to reach corners. We remove as much dust as possible, saving you the effort. We spend extra time on high-traffic areas, such as doorways. We hand massage the fibers as we vacuum to get them to open up.

Step 3: We attack all the spots found in your carpet. We pay special attention to tough spots. This way most of the spots will be taken care of.

4. We spray your carpet with a pre-conditioner. This helps separate the dirt from your carpets’ fibers.

5. Your carpet is agitated. This works the pre-conditioner in, all the way down to the threats forming the pile.

6. We shoot a jet of hot steam into your carpet. The high heat helps kill all the dust mites. Plus the hot water begins to break down the dirt.

7. After as much water as possible is extracted (98%,) we gently buff your carpets. This helps break up in residual detergents.

8. We add the additional step of cleaning your baseboards. What good is a clean carpet if the base boards are filthy.

9. Once we are finished with the clean, we move your furniture back to the same place it started. We place tabs under all legs to prevent discoloration of your freshly cleaned carpet.

10. We lay down paper in areas that must be walked on before your carpet is dry.
